Chattanooga is blessed with an extraordinary concentration of churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, and Christian business leaders. Yet too often, these faithful efforts operate in isolation from one another.

Imagine what could happen if Christian leaders across every sphere of influence worked together with greater trust, shared vision, and Kingdom purpose. ForCHATT exists to help make that possible.

As an initiative of Faith Co-Op, ForCHATT is cultivating relationships, trust, and collaboration among Christians throughout Chattanooga so that together we can more faithfully seek the flourishing of our city and demonstrate the unity Jesus prayed for in John 17.

Jesus Christ is the center of all creation, the head of His people, and the source of all lasting fruit. At ForCHATT, we believe every partnership, initiative, and act of service must begin with abiding in Him and be directed toward His glory rather than our own success.

1 Cor. 1:15-20, John 15:1-11, Hebrews 1:1-4

Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, God has made His people one, calling believers from every church, denomination, vocation, and generation into a shared identity and mission. ForCHATT exists to cultivate that visible unity, believing that as God’s people love and serve together, the gospel is displayed with greater clarity and credibility.

John 17:20-23, Ephesians 4:11-16, Colossians 3:12-17

Having first been loved by God in Christ, we are called to love our neighbors with humility, compassion, justice, and sacrificial service. ForCHATT seeks to encourage and equip Christians to demonstrate the love of Christ throughout every neighborhood, workplace, school, and sphere of influence across our city.

John 13:34-35, Matthew 22:37-40, Micah 6:8

God calls His people to seek the peace, justice, and flourishing of the places where He has sent them as a foretaste of His coming kingdom. ForCHATT exists to strengthen collaborative efforts that contribute to the spiritual, social, cultural, and economic flourishing of Chattanooga, trusting that the gospel does brings renewal to every part of life.

Jeremiah 29:4-7, Proverbs 11:10-11, Revelation 21

“When in Revelation 21:5 God proclaims that he’s making “all things new,” it’s worth reminding ourselves that all means all: souls, families, neighborhoods, institutions, cultures. Chattanooga has long been in need of an organization that will help non-profits, churches, and other institutions collaborate together to join the risen Christ in this work, and ForCHATT is poised to fill this void. As a pastor, I’m grateful for ForCHATT’s vision and its commitment to the patient and steady work of seeing all of Chattanooga flourish.”
