2026-2027 Lunch + Learn Series: God’s Presence in Our Work
Over the past year, we’ve heard from people across industries and career stages who share a common challenge: staying connected to God in their daily work. The pace and demands of our lives both within and outside of our jobs can make it difficult to pay attention to God’s presence in the everyday.
This series is an invitation to see God’s presence in our work. Over the next few months, we’ll hear from people across professions about the challenges they face, the spiritual practices they lean on, and the biblical truths that help draw their attention back to God. From entering our workspace to starting a meeting, sending an email, updating a spreadsheet, or talking with a colleague, God is already present—and inviting us to do our work with Him.
Our fall lunch topics are:
- SEPTEMBER 1 – Seeing Our Work as Holy Ground
- OCTOBER 20 – Praying Without Words
- DECEMBER TBD – Practicing Friendship at Work
Register today on our Events Page. We will be announcing details of each event in our monthly newsletters and on social. Sign up to receive updates here.

Faith Co-Op is honored to host a Lunch + Learn series for anyone in the city to attend. The purpose of these events is to build a network of Christian business leaders and provide stories of how the gospel can shape our daily work. Those who attend will leave with new connections and a broader framework to imagine what it could mean to honor the Lord in our vocations.
We hope you will join us as we begin to look at practical stories of people living into Jesus’ teaching in their work contexts.

Seeing Our Work as Holy Ground
Sarah, an account executive, and Nate, a local barber, will share how they see their places of vocation as spaces where God is forming them into the likeness of Christ and using their work for the good of others.

“I have met superb people who love the Lord and love their city and want to glorify Him with their whole life – they inspire me. It has reminded me that the church in Chattanooga is bigger and more beautiful than just my local church or my online community/tribe.”
