Faith + Work 101 is a course for churches and small groups that gives participants a basic theological foundation for God’s design and purpose in our work.

Our sessions cover:

  1. Design of Work
  2. Dignity of Work
  3. Problems in Work
  4. Renewal of Work
  5. Sabbath
  6. Personal Calling

Seminary-trained professors and seasoned Christian business executives will lead your group through a look at what the Bible says about our “9 to 5” work. The course is perfect for a Sunday School class, Wednesday night church gathering, or company professional development training.

Course outcomes include:

  • Better understanding of the role work should play in the Christians life.
  • Practical skills for having a redemptive view of work.
  • A list of resources for continued learning and growth.
  • A shared language around a Christian view of work to use with others in your network.

We’ll meet each week for a teaching session on a biblical passage related to work. We’ll also have time for questions and discussions.

You’ll be given readings for each week and access to an online learning platform where you can access notes, recordings, and readings.

We’ll discuss the main principles and teachings on a theology of work and what the Bible says about our “9 to 5” vocations.
