About the series:
In Mark 12:29-30 Jesus tells us that the two greatest commandments are to “love God and love our neighbor.” Oftentimes when Christians apply this passage it only encompasses their personal life. In our 2023-24 Lunch + Learn series we will be looking at what it means to love our neighbor in our vocational lives. We will look at:

• Who are our neighbors at work?
• What does love look like in a corporate setting?
• What are practices we can build into our work to live out these truths?

In this session:
In our second luncheon in the series, we are honored to have Jody Riggs from Ameriprise Financial and Teresa Whitton from Southeastern Trust Company. Jody and Teresa will share how their faith shapes the way they view relationships within the financial planning and wealth management industry and what it means to love and serve their neighbor in their daily work.

We’ll hear about how both women got started, why they do what they do, and the ways their faith guides their work in both the joy of contributing to the common good and the challenges of how to do that well.
