Chattanooga is blessed with an extraordinary concentration of churches, ministries, nonprofit organizations, and Christian business leaders. Yet too often, these faithful efforts operate in isolation from one another.
Imagine what could happen if Christian leaders across every sphere of influence worked together with greater trust, shared vision, and Kingdom purpose. ForCHATT exists to help make that possible.
As an initiative of Faith Co-Op, ForCHATT is cultivating relationships, trust, and collaboration among Christians throughout Chattanooga so that together we can more faithfully seek the flourishing of our city and demonstrate the unity Jesus prayed for in John 17.
THEOLOGICAL DISTINCTIVES
The Centrality of Christ
Jesus Christ is the center of all creation, the head of His people, and the source of all lasting fruit. At ForCHATT, we believe every partnership, initiative, and act of service must begin with abiding in Him and be directed toward His glory rather than our own success.
1 Cor. 1:15-20, John 15:1-11, Hebrews 1:1-4
The Unity of God’s People
Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, God has made His people one, calling believers from every church, denomination, vocation, and generation into a shared identity and mission. ForCHATT exists to cultivate that visible unity, believing that as God’s people love and serve together, the gospel is displayed with greater clarity and credibility.
John 17:20-23, Ephesians 4:11-16, Colossians 3:12-17
The Love of Neighbor
Having first been loved by God in Christ, we are called to love our neighbors with humility, compassion, justice, and sacrificial service. ForCHATT seeks to encourage and equip Christians to demonstrate the love of Christ throughout every neighborhood, workplace, school, and sphere of influence across our city.
John 13:34-35, Matthew 22:37-40, Micah 6:8
The Flourishing of Our City
God calls His people to seek the peace, justice, and flourishing of the places where He has sent them as a foretaste of His coming kingdom. ForCHATT exists to strengthen collaborative efforts that contribute to the spiritual, social, cultural, and economic flourishing of Chattanooga, trusting that the gospel does brings renewal to every part of life.

COMMUNITY VOICES
YOUR VOCATIONAL WISDOM MATTERS
Christian business owners are uniquely positioned to shape the spiritual, social, and economic health of Chattanooga.
You steward people.
You create opportunity.
You influence culture.
You solve problems.
You invest in the future.
ForCHATT believes that business leaders are not simply supporters of Kingdom work but they are essential participants in it. The challenges facing our city are too complex for any one church, ministry, nonprofit, or business to address alone. But when Christian leaders work together, opportunities emerge that would never be possible individually. We would love to help you explore how God has uniquely positioned your business to serve the flourishing of our city.
“We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” — Ephesians 2:10
We recognize that trust cannot be manufactured.
It is built slowly through prayer, humility, and faithful presence.
ForCHATT is simply an invitation.
An invitation to know fellow shepherds.
An invitation to pray together.
An invitation to seek the good of Chattanooga together.
An invitation to bear witness to the unity Christ has already secured through His cross.
We would be honored to listen, learn, and pray with you as together we seek the flourishing of Christ’s Church throughout Chattanooga.
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” — Ephesians 4:3
Public leadership can be isolating.
The decisions are complex. The challenges are significant. The pressures are real. ForCHATT desires to create space for you to connect with other believers who share a desire to serve Chattanooga faithfully.
A space to build relationships. A space to pray together. A space to remember that your work matters to God. A space to imagine what becomes possible when Christian leaders across every sector of city life seek the welfare of Chattanooga together. We would be honored to learn about your work, hear your story, and explore how we can encourage and support you in your calling.
“For in its welfare you will find your welfare.” — Jeremiah 29:7
We believe God has uniquely called and equipped your organization for a specific purpose.
ForCHATT is not seeking to change your mission. We are not creating another nonprofit competing for volunteers or visibility. Instead, we want to serve as a connector, convener, and catalyst that helps ministries flourish together. Our goal is simple: Help Christian organizations accomplish more together than they could accomplish alone while still preserving the unique calling of each ministry. We would love to hear about your work and learn from the wisdom you’ve gained as you’ve faithfully pursued the mission God has entrusted to your organization.
“If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.” — 1 Cor. 12:19-20
