How does my work matter to God?
Main + Market is a nine-month fellowship program designed to help working Christians in Chattanooga integrate their faith into their everyday life including their work. Through classes, readings, discussion, and practical application, you’ll learn to reflect on the Gospel story, connect it to your heart, and then connect it to your community through your work.
- Begins September 8, 2025
- 3 weekend retreats (October, January, and April)
- 3 Saturday half-day sessions (9am – 1pm)
- Breaks from class for Fall break, Christmas, Easter, and Spring break

Connecting faith with work.
Main + Market equips participants to live out the gospel in the work to which God has called them. Instead of just engaging their faith on Sundays, Fellows develop a robust understanding of how to apply Christ to every day of the week through their work.
As a Fellow, you’ll walk away with deep connections with a community of Christians from diverse backgrounds, a robust understanding of work through the lens of the Biblical narrative, growth in your relationship with God, and the tools you need to apply the gospel to your own unique work context.
Gospel-Centered Theological Training

- Applied projects + exercises to apply the curriculum to life

“Main+Market was instrumental in giving me a vocabulary and a theological foundation to understand the purpose/calling of the work that I do. I felt for so long that I was a bridge builder and often didn’t see the sacred/secular divide. I felt like I was alone in this thinking and had to defend this thinking. In my studies, I realized this was actually Biblical and there was a whole group of people living in this integrated way.”
